PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER:
- Trees must be paid for in advance. Sorry, but once trees are ordered from the nursery we cannot provide a refund.
- All orders must be picked up on Saturday, October 5th from 10 am to 2 pm at Norwood Community Centre, 87 Walmer Street. We do not have a storage facility to bring leftover trees back to at the end of the distribution day. Unclaimed trees will be donated to community organisations.
- There is a limit of six trees per address.
- These are "two-gallon" sized trees, unless otherwise noted. The containers they come in are around the same diameter as an ice cream pail and the trees can be anywhere from two to five feet in height, depending on the variety.
- Trees are easy to transport as most will fit into a regular-sized car and we can help you with the loading. Transportation can be messy if the trees have been recently watered, so we recommend covering your car seat or trunk with a tarp or blanket.
- When checking out, we will ask you to provide us with an address or approximate location. This information will be used to register your trees as part of the One Million Tree Challenge.
- Click Before You Dig! Do not attempt to plant your tree until you know what is in the ground underneath. Submit the location to http://clickbeforeyoudigmb.com or call 1-800-940-3447 and allow at least three working days for a response. Trees should not be planted under power lines.
