This package comes with one Boreal Beauty Haskap Honeyberry (Lonicera caerulea var. kamtschatica 'Boreal Beauty') and one Polar Jewel Haskap Honeyberry (Lonicera caerulea var. kamtschatica ‘Polar Jewel’)

Haskaps, also known as Honeyberries, are fast-growing and disease resistant fruit bearing shrubs. The berries can be harvested in late July to early August, and the flavour is described as between a blueberry and strawberry with notes of kiwi. Fruit should not be expected until two years after planting, so you’ll have to be a bit patient!

The two shrubs should be planted within four to six feet of each other to be able to reproduce. They will grow to around six feet tall and four feet wide at maturity. More about the Boreal Beauty can be found here. More about the Polar Jewel can be found here.

Note that these shrubs come in one-gallon sized containers and will stand about two feet tall. They are specially priced at $39.99 for the pair.

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER:

- Trees must be paid for in advance. Sorry, but once the tree is ordered, we cannot provide a refund. The pickup date is Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10 am to 2 pm at Bronx Park Community Centre, 755 Henderson Highway.

- The container is around the circumference of a four-litre ice cream pail and will fit into a regular-sized car. We will have volunteers to help you, should you need it. (Transportation can be messy, so we recommend bringing a blanket or tarp to protect your car interior.)

- Call Before You Dig:  Submit your planting location as soon as possible to make sure you are not planting over underground utilities. Contact https://clickbeforeyoudigmb.com/ or call 1-800-940-3447 and allow at least three working days for a response. Trees should not be planted under power lines.

- All our trees come from family-owned Manitoba-based tree farms.
